Follow up Action
Assign action items immediately during meetings. Set a due date. Reminders will be sent between the meetings to ensure things don’t slip the mind as soon as they step out of the meeting.* In the following meeting any previously raised action items will be added to the agenda in business arising from the previous meeting. Make sure your committee is getting thing done.
Motion on the record
At any point during the meeting, create motions with data captured simply and with the least amount of typing possible. Table motions for later meetings.
